Day 1 – Paro Arrival
Arrive at Paro International Airport. After visa formalities, transfer to hotel. Visit Paro Dzong and stroll through Paro town & Kaja Throm market. Overnight in Paro.
Day 2 – Paro to Thimphu
Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hrs). Visit Memorial Chorten, Textile Museum, and Folk Heritage Museum. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 3 – Thimphu to Punakha
Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass. Visit Punakha Dzong, Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, and Punakha suspension bridge. Overnight in Punakha farmhouse.
Day 4 – Punakha to Thimphu
Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, then visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Return drive to Thimphu. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 5 – Thimphu to Paro
Visit Buddha Dordenma, Takin Reserve, and Jungshi Paper Factory. Optional shopping before returning to Paro. Overnight in Paro.
Day 6 – Paro to Bumdra
Trek to Bumdra Monastery (3,850m), a 5–6 hr moderate hike. Overnight in tents near the monastery, with stunning sunset and stargazing opportunities.
Day 7 – Bumdra to Tiger’s Nest & Paro
Descend from Bumdra directly to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery. Visit the sacred site before returning to Paro for leisure. Overnight in Paro.
Day 8 – Departure
Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure. Farewell and prayers for a safe journey.
